COVID-19 Vaccine Update
South Street Medical Centre has been approved to provide COVID vaccines in the Phase 1B rollout of the COVID-19 vaccination program.
Our vaccines are estimated to arrive during the first week in April, but numbers will unfortunately be limited initially until production ramps up.
Once we have a delivery date we can start to book eligible patients. You will require 2 doses 12 weeks apart, so we will be booking your second dose at the same time. You will receive a reminder a week before the second dose appointment.
An SMS or recall letter will be sent closer to the time of availability.
We strongly advise you keep up to date on this website.
The WA state government has vaccine stocks available now for those in the 1b eligibility group.
Phase 1b eligibility criteria:
- Elderly adults 70+
- Other health care workers (non-hospital nurses/carers/AIN’s)
- Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander people over 55
- Younger adults with an underlying medical condition, including those with a disability
- Critical high risk workers (include: defence, police, ambulance, fire, emergency services, meat processing workers)
